Cristabella

Cristabella was formerly the Spanish America’s Cup team’s El Desafio and owner John Cook and his team only started racing this replaceent for his older TP52 at the second regatta of 2009 in Marseille. So, they had to carry maximum points from the first regatta. She is the latest in a line of Mediterranean-based raceboats of British owner Cook.

Owner-driver Cook enjoyed racing IMS boats out of Palma for many years before joing the Audi MedCup Circuit in 2006.  A hull sister to Bribón, Cristabella is especially strong in lighter airs and flat water. Their very experienced crew are capable of results in the top half of the fleet, particularly now they have got well used to the boat which was new to them last season.
