The Copa del Rey is not just about sailing, it is about holiday, meeting friends and partying as well.

The two agents of the Guardia Civil killed last Thursday were not forgotten, a minute of silence in their memory was attended by many.

The Real Club Nautico Palma is extremely well suited to provide for it all, a vast club with enough space to accommodate various parties at the same time, as well as it has 2 swimming pools, a superb restaurant, a gym, various bars, etc.

During the Copa del Rey all these areas are open to every sailor competing as well as relatives, friends and visitors from the cruising yachts in the marina or just yachting enthousiasts.

All is amazingly well run, there seems to be no stress, even though security is tight with the royal family joining from time to time.

A compliment to all that make this happen and for sure we will be back next year.
