Windquest

Owned and co-helmed by Doug and Dalton DeVos, the WINDQUEST team has been racing TP-52s throughout Europe and the United States since in 2008. Since 2019, they have instrumental in establishing and building the GL52 fleet.

Dalton DeVos and his father Doug DeVos have been sailing together all their lives beginning on Lake Michigan and across the world including American Magic, competing for America’s Cup!

The WINDQUEST team loves inshore racing, especially on the GL52 which is purpose-built for intense, close and fast racing, but also favorites the Chicago-Mac Race. According to Dalton, “There’s nothing like the stars and the storms you can see from the middle of Lake Michigan, a wondrous piece of adventure.”

This team plays to win but also for fun; they appreciate the relationships built both within their own team and with competitors.
