Only one race today, winds gusting well over 30 knots and there is plenty nylon ending up where it isnot designed for.
Some do better than others though, Artemis makes it look like a walk in the park.

But Desafio broach out of control, then Bribon blow their kite, then Mean Machine lose theirs, it’s last man standing at the moment on this run….Artemis, then Matador finishing 1 and 2, Mutua look set for three…

Fantastico….so it is Artemis, Matador, Mutua Madrilena, Desafio, Quantum, Bribon, and 7 Mean Machine at the finish line for Race 7…

So Race 8 has been postponed and the fleet will be held in harbour…AP over H flag shown. Great composure from the Artemis team who have, of course, been doing a huge amount of sailing in a diverse range of craft, which can’t hurt in these conditions.

 Fifth for Quantum ahead of seventh placed Mean Machine means the regatta standings are Quantum leading on 26 points, Mean Machine second on 30 pts, Mutua Madrilena third on 37points, Bribon fourth on 39 points, and Quantum lead the Audi MedCup Circuit by 1.2 points from Bribon.
