Final Day Cartagena

A typical Matador performance in Race 8, good boatspeed and good positioning for a solid win and 2nd place for the event.

ETNZ happy to follow them in for a 2nd and closing in on winning the event.

Great fight for 3rd place, Luna Rossa just steals that one from Bigamist (4th) and Audi A1 (5th).

TeamOrigin, dead last after a terrible run (from 2nd to 11th), regains composure and still manages a 7th, but now in 3rd place for the event.

Quantum 6th, good speed, but some less lucky positioning.

==============

Race 9, Matador drop the ball a bit, 7th.

This is TeamOrigin’s race from start to finish, so still in the fight for the event’s 2nd place.

Synergy a very good 2nd and Cristabella show they got the pace to hold position up front, 3rd.

Kiwi’s 4th, but there was an incident with Quantum at the windward mark that made it to the jury.  The jury subsequently disqualified them for infringing Quantum Racing at the first windward mark.

==============

Final Race, Emirates Team New Zealand show one more time how to do this, 1st.

Audi A1, 11th in Race 9, show also they got the boatspeed to keep up with boats like Quantum, they just make it to 2nd.

Quantum 3rd.

TeamOrigin OCS, manage to get back to 9th.

That looses them the 2nd place for the event by 1.5 point to Matador (again 7th).

ETNZ goes into the final Audi MedCup event with a 46.5 points lead.

ADIOS CARTAGENA, we will be back.
