New Judel Vrolijk office!

The best spot in Bremerhafen has been taken by the new Judel Vrolijk office. Somehow on this historical place, that in the 12th century housed a real castle and is situated right on the beach and alongside the entrance to the old harbour of Bremerhafen, the third partner of the Judel Vrolijk office, Torsten Conradi, has managed to secure planning permission to build their dream office.

Wednesday 9 July the official opening took place in great style, with speeches, music, food, drinks, dance and more music.

Recently Fietje Judel retired from the over 30 year long partnership. We all hope for a come-back, Rolf says. But first there is some work to do on the garden and my boat, Fietje replied. The office now has about 15 employees and with Rolf always on the move, the daily management in fact is in the hands of the younger partner, Torsten Conradi.

Hereby some photo’s. You might feel the building is a bit large for 15 people? Part of it is rented out to the Bremerhafen outfit of Germanischer Lloyd.

Congratulations from the TP52 Class.

Not the building! Even the AC doesnot make you that wealthy. But it is the view from Rolfs’ desk! The Columbus tower, the river and the Bremerhafen Nautical Museum and Historical Harbour. Point of attention, the Judel Vrolijk designed DIVA (’85) is in the musum, not a model, but the real thing. To remind us of the 1985 German Admirals Cup win.

The building, nearly finished.

To keep the president of the TP52 Class happy, a small picture of his yacht in the staircase.
