ETNZ show superior control in the breeze.

Bigamist won the 11th and final race of the Region of Sardinia Trophy contested in a stiff Mistral breeze which reached 21-22 knots to produced a great final spectacle on the Gulf of Cagliari.

Bigamist’s third race win at this regatta came after rounding the windward mark in third, profiting at the leeward mark when leader Bribon rounded the leeward gate unable to set a headsail. The Spanish boat struggled for some minutes, effectively dropping form contention for third place overall at the regatta.

Matador hooked the windward mark second time up and could not cut it free until they were 100 metres down the run.
