VALENCIA Measuring Week

12 TP52’s have landed in the (former) City of Sail for their Measuring Week, making good use of the Americas Cup facilities. Marazzi Sailing in the Alinghi Base, Artemis in the Oracle Base, ETPNZ in their own base, like Desafio. Quantum at Desafio as well. Valars and Synergy sharing the K-Challenge base and AUDI Q8 fully at home with Victory Challenge. Bribon and Matador to join Desafio soon, Bigamist coming from the south facing the challenge to sail past Alicante for a check in Valencia and Pisco Sour moored at the RCNV.

Valencia in the meantime keeps on building the most fantastic structures and has made a Formula One track around the AC Basin.

TP52 Measurer Pablo Ferrer can not believe his luck not having to fly between the various homeports but just make a short stroll from the one to the other. Teams use the time between checks to sail and even got a few practise races in today. Some are still making modifications, it never stops.

Emirates Team New Zealand and Artemis arrived as sceduled from New Zealand and got through customs just before the weekend. Pfff…

Both boats have the mix of Cookson quality and their team experts input, with interesting solutions and good detailing choices.

No sailing photos yet, wait for Alicante.
